Q: Which scratch-off tickets are eligible for the Pink Panther Bonus Promotion?

A: Any non-winning Pink Panther Diamond Tripler (game #0195) ticket may be entered into one of eight Pink Panther Bonus promotional drawings for a chance to win one promotional prize in each of the first seven promotional drawings; the final promotional drawing will have eight prizes. Entries not selected in a particular promotional drawing will be eligible for the final promotional drawing in the promotion. All bonus promotion entries will qualify for a chance to win the $100,000 2^nd Chance Promotional drawing at the game's close.

Q: Can I enter the Pink Panther Bonus Promotion more than one (1) time?

A: Yes, you may enter the promotion as many times as you wish. Each entry requires the submission of a non-winning Pink Panther Diamond Tripler (game #0195) ticket that has not been previously submitted.

Q: If I enter a ticket for one drawing, can I enter it for another drawing?

A: No. A ticket can be entered only one (1) time. Entries not selected in a particular Pink Panther Bonus promotional drawing will be eligible for the final promotional drawing in the promotion. All entries will be entered for the $100,000 cash prize drawing at the close of the game.

Q: How do I find out if I have been selected as a winner?

A: The Mississippi Lottery will notify the winner of a Pink Panther Bonus Promotion drawing by certified mail through the U.S. Postal Service. Please keep your account contact information updated.

Q: How long do I have to claim my prize?

A: A winner of a bonus promotional drawing has 10 calendar days from the date of receipt of the certified letter in which to claim the prize, unless otherwise specified in the special Terms and Conditions for a particular bonus promotional drawing.

Q: What happens if the winning prize is not claimed within the time limit?

A: If the Mississippi Lottery determines a winner and any alternate winners of a bonus promotional drawing are ineligible or fail to claim the prize within the time limits set by the Lottery, or if the entry and any alternate winning entries selected for that drawing are invalid, then the bonus promotional prize is forfeited and becomes an unclaimed prize. By law, all unclaimed prize money shall be added to the pool from which future prizes are to be awarded or used for special promotions, at the sole discretion of the Mississippi Lottery Corporation.

Q: Where is the WINNERS LIST from the last drawing?

A: Once a drawing winner is selected, the city where the ticket was purchased and the winner's name (provided the winner grants written permission to reveal his/her name) will be posted in the Winners tab located in the menu at the top of this page.

A: Winners are randomly selected from all eligible entries received for each drawing.

Q: What are my chances of winning a prize in the Pink Panther Bonus promotional drawing?

A: The odds of winning will vary based on the total number of entries that are received for the drawings, the total number of entries you have submitted, and the number of prizes being awarded.

Q: How can I redeem my prize?

A: The Mississippi Lottery will notify the bonus promotional drawing winner by certified letter, return receipt requested, via the U.S. Postal Service. The winner must follow the "How to Claim Your Prize/Winnings" instructions posted at www.mslottery.com.

Q: How are federal and state withholding taxes for the Winner's Choice promotional drawing prizes reported and calculated?

A: Prizes valued at $5,000.00 or more require withholding of federal income tax at the prevailing rate, in accordance with the Internal Revenue Service Tax Code. Additionally, Claimants who do not furnish a correct TIN will be subject to backup withholding at the prevailing rate on winnings of $600.00 to $5,000.00. Nonresident alien individuals or foreign entities will have federal tax withheld at the prevailing rates on winnings of $600.00 or more, regardless of the status of the TIN. The MLC shall withhold state income tax at the prevailing rate for any prize subject to withholding in accordance with the Mississippi Department of Revenue Regulations.

All federal, state, and local taxes on the total prize value, if applicable, are the responsibility of the Claimant. MLC will withhold and deposit the initial state and federal taxes on behalf of the Claimant, as required by law. An IRS Form W-2G/1099 will be issued to the Claimant if required by law.
